Zusammenfassung: | Natural or synthetic polyamide fibres are dyed with anionic wool dyes using a water-in-oil emulsion. The continuous phase consists of an aprotic solvent(s) pref. chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons b.p. about 50 - 150 degrees C. The disperse phase consists of a soluble salt of an anionic wool dye containing at least 10% (pref. 20 - 40%) of the weight of water of a colouring vehicle. Emulsion pref. contains 4 - 10% disperse phase. Minimum amount of polluted water is discharged. Dyeing operation is rapid and maybe carried out at relatively low temp. (80 degrees C). |
