Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses compounds of general formula (I), wherein X?3+ is a trivalent metal; Y?2+ is a divalent metal; A?n- is an inorganic or organic anion of valency n; 0.1 < a < 0.5; 0 < b < 1; 0 < c < a + 2; 0 < d < a + 2; 0 < m < 2; and n is an integer, where c.n + d = a + 2, except for compounds in which d = 2. A method for preparing them is also disclosed. The compounds of the invention are particularly useful as stabilizers for halogenated thermoplastic resins, in particular PVC.
