Naphthyl glyoxamides as spla2 inhibitors

A class of novel naphthyl glyoxamide compounds of formula (I) is disclosed together with a process for making the novel naphthyl glyoxamide compounds and the use of such compounds for inhibiting sPLA2 mediated release of fatty acids for treatment of conditions such as septic shock.
