Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a device and a method for inductively heating workpieces. The workpiece 4, which is arranged in the inductor 3 that is part of the parallel tuned circuit 2, can then be heated under conditions which can be reproduced particularly well if the real power emitted by the inductor 3 into the workpiece 4 is known precisely. While in the case of known devices it is possible to measure only the total real power emitted into the tuned circuit, that is to say taking into account the power consumed in the tuned circuit as well as that emitted into the workpiece, according to the invention the real power emitted into the workpiece 4 can be determined precisely. By means of the described device, the heating behaviour can be determined in the form of a nominal value curve, which is used in the following text as a specification profile for the heating of the further, subsequent workpieces. |
