Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to aqueous textile treatment compositions based on 1,3-dialkyl-4,5-dihydroxyimidazolidinones and selected polyhydric alcohols, in particular 1,6-hexanediol, and 1,1,1-tris(hydroxymethyl)-ethane and -propane. These compositions are used for the formaldehyde-free finishing of textile material consisting of or at least containing cellulose or regenerated cellulose fibres in order to confer crease and shrinkage resistance thereon. The textile material thus treated possesses not only good crease and shrinkage resistance but also much improved whiteness, compared with the prior art.
