Zusammenfassung: | Iron oxide-containing materials and solid fuel are loaded onto a movable grid (1) and the mixture is ignited at the surface and is sintered by sucking through oxygen-containing gases. To reduce the SOx content in the waste gas, a bleed stream of the waste gas (19) having a high content of total SOx produced is taken off separately and is again passed (22) through the load in the final part of the movable grid. An SOx-binding material, for example CaO or Ca(OH)2, as a solution or powder, is added (23) to the load before or in the recycled zone of the bleed stream, which material reacts with the SOx compounds and thus removes them from the waste gas. |
