Zusammenfassung:	A slider (3) operated lock has a pivot mounted latch (26) in a lock housing (2) with direct connection to the slider. The latch has three settings; fully locked, fully released and a trip setting, with the latch in an intermediate setting. A trip catch (18) is set independent to the latch and extends out of the lock and is released when the door/window is swung shut. This provides a direct release of the sprung (17) latch to move into the fully locked position.
