Zusammenfassung:	A single package (10) for a contact lens includes a flange (13) with a well (16) formed therein for holding a contact lens (20) in solution (22) and a curved tongue portion (13a) extending in a direction away from said well (16). A flexible cover sheet (18) extends over the flange (13) and is sealed about the perimeter (16a) of the well (16) to seal the lens (20) and solution (22) in the well (16). The cover sheet (18) may by easily peeled from the flange (13) by a user to access the lens (20) held therein. First and second support (24, 26) structures are formed opposite each other and extend generally perpendicularly from the flange (13). A package assembly (50) is also disclosed including a second package (10) configured substantially the same as a first package (10) wherein the first and second packages (10) may be releasably attached to each other with the first and second support structures (24, 26) of each in meshing engagement with each other.
