Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a process for the grafting of unsaturated monomers to the surface of glass substrates. The process comprises applying to the glass substrates a solution comprising a silane having a double ethylene bond, contacting the products thus coated with an atmosphere formed by a mixture of ozone and oxygen, and placing these coated products in contact with an unsaturated organic monomer. The monomer may be added in the form of a solution, an emulsion or a suspension. The products thus obtained may have a number of technical applications.
