The light pulse is emitted as light beam (22) by the unit when the unit is controlled by a control and evaluation electronic unit (18). The light pulse is emitted by the unit with an opening angle of 10 degrees, and signals received from a receiving unit (14) is evaluated for detecting light beam emitted by the transmitting unit. An independent claim is also included for an opto-electronic sensor comprising a transmitting unit. |
