Zusammenfassung:	The process involves calculating a height corresponding to a relative height of an aircraft with respect to a threshold of a landing runway. A preset metric deviation is subtracted from the height to form another height. An angular vertical position of the aircraft is corrected by utilizing the latter height and a distance. The vertical position is utilized to assist the landing of the aircraft. The distance is the sum of a distance corresponding to the distance in a horizontal plane between the aircraft and the threshold of the landing runway and a distance in a horizontal plane between a predetermined reference point in the land and a threshold of the landing runway. An independent claim is also included for an aircraft landing assisting device including a receiver.
