Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a household appliance (10; 30) comprising a user interface (14; 42), a plate (16; 36), and means for adjusting the transparency of the plate (16; 36), between essentially transparent and essentially non-transparent. The user interface and plate are so arranged in relation to each other that the user interface is essentially concealed for a user when the plate is essentially non-transparent. Thereby, the user interface can be concealed for example when not in use.
