Zusammenfassung:	Construction element (6), especially for retrofitting components (2) such as balconies a distance away from a building part (1), comprises reinforcing elements in the form of at least one transverse force element attached at one end to the component and at the other end to the building part and crossing a gap (3) between the component and building part, especially for filling with external insulation. The transverse force element is a transverse force core rod (7) extending into the component and anchored in the component at least indirectly in a form-locking manner. The transverse core rod has a head plate (5) for fixing flat on the building part using a number of fixing anchors (10) arranged a distance part. Preferred Features: The transverse force core rod, the head plate and/or a U-shaped reinforcing element (8) are made of metal and especially of high grade steel in the region of the gap or in the edge regions near the gap.
