The submarine comprises a tower and a chute that is made up of two sections. One shaft section (2) has an access to the pressure body, whilst a second shaft section (4) has a pressure-tight lockable opening between the submarine and the surrounding atmosphere. The first and second shaft sections are arranged over each other, with a pressure-tight lockable channel (10) between them. The second shaft section is built as a sluice to lock out a person. The second shaft section may have system for flooding and venting, and the second shaft section may have a closable covering (14) that can turn relative to the first shaft section.
