| Zusammenfassung: | The vehicle chassis (2), having parallel lengthwise members (4, 5) in line with its main axis, is fitted with at least one sliding rear section (11, 12) mounted on horizontal (6, 7) and angled (14, 15) arms. Each sliding section has a roller (28, 34) on the rear end of a housing (10) containing a shock absorber in the form of an elastomer block and friction elements. If the vehicle is reversed into a loading bay quay the rollers and shock absorbers absorb the impact and prevent the rear end of the vehicle from lifting. |
