Process for controlled mixing of an odor medium into a medium (4, 5, 6), where the odor medium and the medium are mixed in a dispensing container (1) changeable in respect to its volume, comprises (a) adjusting a defined dispensing container volume (2), (b) evacuating the dispensing container, (c) introducing a defined amount of odor medium (12) in the dispensing container, and (d) conducting a defined quantity of the medium by the dispensing container volume filled with the odor medium. Process for the controlled mixing of an odor medium into a medium (4, 5, 6), where the odor medium and the medium are mixed in a dispensing container (1) changeable in respect to its volume, comprises (a) adjusting a defined dispensing container volume (2), (b) evacuating the dispensing container, (c) introducing a defined amount of odor medium (12) in the dispensing container, where the discharge of the defined quantity of the odor medium is continued so long until the dispensing container volume is completely filled, and (d) conducting a defined quantity of the medium by the dispensing container volume filled with the odor medium.
