Zusammenfassung: | In order to cool a number of the tool parts (1), the coolant flows between an inlet (2) and an outlet (3) along distribution manifolds (5, 6) and connecting ducts (7, 8). Additional connecting ducts (9) are arranged so that the coolant flows through at least two successive tool parts. The additional duct (9) is closed at both ends and is connected to both inlets and outlets of the tool parts (1). In order to cool a number of the tool parts (1), the coolant flows between an inlet (2) and an outlet (3) along distribution manifolds (5, 6) and connecting ducts (7, 8). Additional connecting ducts (9) are arranged so that the coolant flows through at least two successive tool parts. The additional duct (9) is closed at both ends and is connected to both inlets and outlets of the tool parts (1). The additional ducts (9) can be incorporated in a distribution plate. Alternatively manifolds (5, 6) designed for pure parallel flow can have blocking plugs inserted along part of their length to divert the flow into partial series flow. |
