Zusammenfassung:The plant has a roller (1), which is clasped by the web of fibrous material (2) in operation. An application device (3) for direct application of the coating color on the web of fibrous material or for indirect application is included. A support beam (5) provides a plane, tensioned or tautly held curtain (9), which is suspended on the support beam and which in side view is located in a vertical level between the support beam and the gangway (8). The support beam reaches lower end of the curtain in the working position of the support beam with the application device up to the gangway by which the curtain acts as mechanical protection device.
