In particular, the present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting and preventing obesity and various adult diseases associated with the same, which comprises a mixed extract from Ephedrae Herba, Scutellariae Radix and Typhae Pollen or the composition comprising the mixed extract described above together with at least one selected from the group consisting of Acorus gramineus Rhizome, Armeniacae Semen, Nelumbinus Folium and Polygalae Radix.
