1. Gas-blast circuit-breaker having a fixed (2) and a movable (4) contact member which can be made to engage and disengage with one another, with a blow nozzle (6) which is releasable by the movable contact member (4) in the course of the circuit breaking movement, the blow nozzle (6) on the inlet side being connected to an arcing chamber (7) which is connected to a pressure accumulator chamber (8, 9 ; 14, 15) via at least one inlet-pressure relief valve (10, 11 ; 16, 17), characterized in that the pressure accumulator chamber (8, 9 ; 14, 15) connected to the arcing chamber (7) via at least one inlet pressure relief valve (10, 11 ; 16, 17), has at least one outlet non-return valve (12, 13 ; 18, 19) connecting the pressure accumulator chamber (8, 9 ; 14, 15) with the arcing chamber (7) and that at least one such pressure accumulator chamber (8, 9 ; 14, 15) is provided.
