MIMO KANALEMULATOR

This application describes a MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) channel emulator with a transmission matrix or a radio transmission matrix emulator equipment for the measurement of multiple transmitting antennae and multiple receiving antennae radio transceiver equipment. The emulator equipment generalizes the processes for measuring radio transceiver equipment of a single pair of antennae to the MIMO case, emulating at an optical level the transmission matrix representing the group of individual propagation paths between each transmitting antenna and each receiving antenna, for which it comprises a series of bidirectional electro-optical converters (2), as well as a series of elements inside said matrix to process the output optical signals of said converters (2), such as variable optical attenuators (4) and variable delay generating elements (5).
