Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a window or a door, the wing (1) of which is formed by four profiled bars (2) that are connected to each other in the corner area by means of gluing or welding. Said profiled bars (2) comprise force-transmitting members (push rods, 5) which can be cut to length together with the profiled bars (2) and are guided in a longitudinally movable manner within undercut grooves (16) of the profiled bars (2). In order to be able to produce a wing (1) for such a window as easily and inexpensively as possible, the push rods (5) consist of profiles that can be cut to length together with the profiled bars (2) by means of miter cuts or have a length which corresponds to the groove (16) receiving the push rods (5) while being glued or welded to each other or to the profiled bar (2) in the corner area so as to form connection points. Also disclosed is a method for producing a plastic or metal wing (1).
