The device is in the wheel of the elements and a nozzle (14) injects a medium (15) in opposite direction to the direction of the wheel. The device is rotary with radially extending transporting elements (12). The device is a barrel arranged at the tobacco inlet of a flow drier (17). The nozzle is arranged such that the entrance of the medium (15) is oriented tangential to the outer circumference of the rotary device.
