| Zusammenfassung: | A dental prosthesis comprising an implant, an abutment attached to the implant in a manner wherein an implant abutment joint is defined therebetween, and a crown attached to the abutment and the implant in a manner wherein the implant abutment joint is covered by the crown. The attachment of the crown to the abutment and the implant is accomplished through the use of an adhesive which extends between the crown and the implant in a manner wherein the adhesive seals the implant abutment joint thereby preventing any bacterial colonization or other deterioration therein. |
