Zusammenfassung:This invention relates to polymeric, preferably heat recoverable, articles carrying fusible or flowable electrically conductive material, and a process for making such articles. A problem with such articles is that the conductive material generally has to be inserted into the formed article on an item-by-item basis, which is costly. The present article, in contrast, can be made quickly and conveniently, and comprises a polymeric material (2,3) that has been seam bonded through the electrically conductive material (1) so as to displace the conductive material (1) from the resulting seam (4). The article may be used for electrical applications, for example for electrical cables.
