Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a knife for cutting meat or meat-like products, cheese and the like, the knife being made up of a hub ( 9 ) and a cutting body ( 10 ). The cutting body has a cavity ( 4 ), preferably composed of a first ( 2 ) and a second half-shell ( 3 ). The invention also relates to a method for producing knives with a cavity as well as to a method for detecting leakage from the knife cavity, wherein a liquid is filled into the cavity.
