The first mixer's second input gate receives a reference signal. The harmonic mixer's second input gate receives part of the microwave oscillator output signal. A phase-frequency or phase detector (7) receives the output of the first mixer and the frequency divided (5) output of the harmonic mixer and drives the microwave oscillator's (1) control input. The ratio of the frequency divider's division factor to the harmonic mixer's multiplying factor is an integer. |
