The invention concerns a method for collecting and sequencing by numbering bundles of security papers. The method consists in using a first circuit (A) provided with n pallets passing in front of a delivery station (D) p times to receive each time a bundle of m security papers. When the first pallets have received p bundles, connecting to a second circuit (B) containing n empty pallets and exchanging empty pallets with filled pallets. When the pallets have been exchanged, connecting the two circuits (A, B) and while the empty pallets pass in front of the delivery station (D) to be filled, the filled pallets of the second circuit (B) pass in front of an unloading station (E). The method can be repeated as many times as desired.
