Zusammenfassung:	The liquid ring pump has an impeller (3) which on one side has a closed end wall (11), and on the other side a mechanical seal (9) pressurized with flushing fluid. In the end wall at least one arc-shaped radially curved slot (12) is orientated towards the circumference of the impeller and when viewed opposite the direction of rotation extends from the inside towards the circumference of the impeller. The slots are spiral form in construction and multi-start. The impeller is installed on the pump shaft (1).
