A molding material containing: (a) thermoplastic(s); (b) amorphous polyolefin grafted with a silane containing olefinic double bonds and 1-3 alkoxy groups directly attached to silicon; and, optionally (c) a small amount of reinforcing agent. A molding material, essentially containing: (a) 3-98 wt.% of one or more thermoplastics; (b) 2-97 wt.% essentially amorphous poly- alpha -olefin grafted with a silane containing olefinic double bond(s) and 1-3 alkoxy groups directly attached to silicon, to give a grafted polyolefin with a melt viscosity of 100-50,000 mPa.s at 190 degrees C; optionally with (c) from 0 to less than 0.5 part by weight reinforcing agent to 100 parts by weight (a + b).
