Zusammenfassung:	The method involves a first transmitter/receiver (BS1) supporting a communications link to a terminal (MT) using adaptive antennas, a second transmitter (BS2) performing directionally selective evaluation of radio signals (2) transmitted by the terminal, allocating transmission capacity to the terminal accordingly and establishing a communications link (3) to the terminal using adaptive antennas. Independent claims are also included for the following: a base station system with devices for assigning transmission capacity in radio communications system.
