Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A slaughterhouse powered hand tool removes the backbone and neural tissue from beef cadavers and has a ring saw-blade (1). The blade (1) has a tooth (4) drive and rotates in a fixture (3) which is detachable from the main part (5) of the tool with motor (12). The ring cutter is straddled by two vertical drive wheels (6) and a convex guide panel (7). The motor (12) drives the ring saw-blade (1) and the vertical circular saw drive wheels (6). The main body (5) has a pinion linking the motor, saw-blade and drive wheels. The transport wheels are inclined to each other facing the saw blade extend through vertical slots in the guide plate. The transport wheels are in contact with animal body tissues either side of the vertebral column. An Independent claim is also claimed for removal of the backbone and central nervous system tissues from beef carcasses in which the tail end of the vertebral column is suspended from a winch while the ring cutter descends around the vertebral column.
