Zusammenfassung: | A multi-component injection molding of two materials, involves accumulating different melts in a chamber and injecting into a tool cavity part of whose wall includes the chamber end. A multi-component injection molding of two materials, involves accumulating different melts in a chamber and injecting into a tool cavity part of whose wall includes the chamber end. A first plastic (K1) is forced into a melt accumulation chamber (2) with a piston-like end area (3). A second plastic (K2) is then forced into the same chamber and the accumulated melt in the chamber is injected into a molding tool (1) by moving the piston area forward such that it eventually forms part of the tool cavity wall. An Independent claim is made for the process equipment which includes two plasticizing units (5,15) a common melt accumulation chamber (2) fed from both plasticizing units and a tool part of whose wall is formed by an piston-like end area (3) of the melt chamber. |
