Zusammenfassung: | Fatty acid monoesters with at least 12 carbon atoms can replace a considerable portion of the conventional softeners based on phthalic acid esters, alkylsulphonic acid esters of phenol or other prior art softeners in plastisol compositions. The methyl and/or ethyl esters of fatty acids from renewable fats and oils, such as tall oil fatty acids, rapeseed oil fatty acids, linseed oil fatty acids or safflower oil fatty acids are preferably used for these secondary softeners. Preferably these plastisols are used as adhesives, sealants or coatings in the automotive industry. |
