Zusammenfassung:A kicker assembly comprises a kicker wheel (130) which rotates over a suction housing (120). The wheel has a grooved peripheral flange (134) with a series of holes (142) therein. The holes pass, in turn, over a suction passageway (126) in the housing through which rods (12) are picked from a rod maker, and a rod release passageway (129) through which air is blown to break the suction and release rods from the kicker.
