Zusammenfassung:	A process of placing a sleeve on a cable comprising: A) wetting at least one of a) the internal surfaces of the sleeve and b) the external surfaces of a substrate on which the sleeve is to be placed with an aqueous mixture comprising a lubricant; B) draining excess aqueous mixture from the wetted surfaces; C) placing the sleeve into close and conforming contact with the substrate; D) sliding the sleeve off of the substrate; and E) placing the sleeve over the cable.
