Date Nov. 12, 1992.A woven cloth comprised of at least 50% by weight of polyvinyl chloride and/or polyamide fibers and, if necessary, acrylic fibers, but, in any case, less than 10% by weight of cotton and/or rayon fibers, is used as a therapeutic aid to increase the oxygen partial pressure in animal or human musculature. The woven cloth preferably is comprised of at least 50% by weight of polyvinyl chloride fibers, preferably more than 75% by weight of polyvinyl chloride fibers, and a maximum of 25% by weight of acrylic and/or polyester fibers. The woven cloth is used to produce bandages or stockings, for example.
