TETRACYCLISCHE IMIDAZOCHINAZOLIN-DERIVATE, VERFAHREN ZU IHRER HERSTELLUNG UND DIESE ENTHALTENDE ARZNEIMITTEL

Imidazotriazoloquinazoline compounds having the general formula wherein A together with the alpha -marked carbon atom and the beta -marked nitrogen atom is one of the groups cyano or CO2R5, wherein R5 is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, trifluoromethyl or alkoxymethyl; and R2, R3 and R4 independently are H, hydroxy, halogen, CN, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, trifluoromethyl, alkoxy, dialkylaminoalkoxy, aralkoxy, aryloxy which may be substituted, acyclic amino group, or NR6R7, wherein R6 and R7 independently are H or alkyl. The compounds are useful in psychopharmaceutical preparations as anticonvulsants, anxiolytics, hypnotics, antipsychotics, antiemetics, or in improving the cognitive function of the brain of mammals, or as benzodiazepine antagonsists.
