Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method for semi-automatic consignment operation, in particular in closed motorail trains, in which the vehicle to be loaded is moved by the respective motorist into a parked position inside the transport units of the train, the vehicle being driven in from a loading ramp lying parallel to the direction of the rails via a transfer bridge through preferably lateral gates of the transport units and being driven out in a reverse operation. In order to accelerate the consignment operation, in particular also in respect of high-speed trains, it is proposed that the access to the loading ramp (7) should take place via a special access road (1) in which an automatic height and width monitoring device (2) selects the vehicles and only feeds tolerable vehicles to a consignment terminal (5/6). Here, a computer calculates a basic fare by the length of the vehicle being measured and a destination being specified via an automatic ticket machine, and determines a waiting position in an assembly block (A, B, C) of the loading ramp (7) for later entry into a transport unit (9) of the motorail train. The fare is not paid until the vehicle is in the train. Here, it is advantageous that the basic fare and the waiting position is noted on a ticket and payment does not take place until the vehicle is driven into the train or the transport unit (8) and is made to a ticket inspector or via an automatic ticket machine and takes into account all the occupants of the vehicle.
