Zusammenfassung:	The ring valve for the high pressure stage of a compressor has a seat (1) with ring-shaped concentric through passage channels (2) for controlled medium, a catchment device (3) with outflow channels (4) and a valve plate (5) movable backwards and forwards between the catchment device and the valve seat. Several individual ring plates (7) are provided for the through passage channels of the valve seat and a support plate (8), spring-loaded from the catchment device, locates on the ring plates. In order to make possible the guide of each individual ring plate in the stroke direction with simple common spring effect, the support plate comprises two concentric support rings (9,9') engaging over two adjacent ring plates, which in the stroke direction locate on guide projections (10) of the catchment device.
