Zusammenfassung:	The control device (12) acts on the closure element (7) of the compressor suction valve (6) over part of the crank rotation, to provide forced opening of the valve shortly before reaching the pressure equalisation between the cylinder space and the suction space of the compressor. The forced opening is effected at a crank angle of between 0 and 20 degrees before reaching the pressure equalisation point. The control device may employ a hydraulic control cylinder with monitoring of the pressure for periodic opening of the closure element for indirect monitoring of the opening rate.
