1531938 Pesticide/salt compositions of reduced phytotoxicity RICHTER GEDEON VEGYESZETI GYAR RT 1 Sept 1976 [1 Sept 1975] 36205/76 Heading A5E A pesticidal composition comprises one or more of the salts sodium bisulphite, potassium bisulphite, sodium dithionite, potassium dithionite and potassium bisulphate together with one or more pesticidally active organic compounds with the proviso that when the salt is potassium bisulphate the pesticidally active organic compound is not a n-1-naphthyl phthalamic acid herbicide. The compositions are of reduced phytoxicity and improve crop yields. The pesticidally active compound may be one or more compound selected from symmetrical and asymmetrical triazine derivatives, carbamate derivatives, thiocarbamate derivatives, urea derivatives, uracil derivatives, acid amide derivatives, acyl anilide derivatives, aromatic nitro compounds, benzonitrile derivatives, heterocyclic compounds, organophosphorus compounds, quaternary ammonium compounds, phenoxyalkane carboxylic acid derivatives, chlorine-containing fatty acid derivatives, other acid derivatives, ester derivatives, diol derivatives and aliphatic compounds; numerous examples of these types of compounds being specified. Antidotes such as N, N-diallyldichloroacetamide also may be present and the composition components may be applied together or separately.
