PURPOSE:To simplify a continuous rolling mill for pipes and to obtain high stability by using paired beams to form the supporting parts of assemblies for supporting grooved rolls, coupling the respectively adjacent paired beams and both ends to constitute a box type holding construction and press-tightening the adjacent assemblies to the assemblies between the paired beams. CONSTITUTION:The supporting parts for the assemblies 5 to support the plural grooved rolls 9 between both end plates 2 and 3 on a foundation plate 1 are constituted of the paired beams 6, 7 parallel with the axial lines of the rolls. Said part are then coupled by means of tightening bars 8 at both ends to the paired beams 7 or 6 which are continuous with the paired beams 6, 7 and are disposed to swivel by 90 deg. each therefrom to form the box type holding construction for the purpose of the assemblies 5. The assemblies 5 disposed between the paired beams 6 and 7 are press-tightened to the assemblies 5 of the adjacent paired beams 7 or 6 to impart the required rigidity to the entire device.
