SELBSTVERNETZENDE EMULSIONSMISCHUNG UND VERFAHREN ZU IHRER HERSTELLUNG

The invention relates to a self-crosslinking emulsion mixture of bitumen with solid emulsifier, rubber, mineral fillers and vulcanisation additives for the production of highly elastic protective coatings having high heat and ageing resistance. The mixture is used to apply seamless roof and waterproof coverings. The object of the invention is to achieve the smallest possible proportion of rubber latex and high reproducibility of the properties. The object is achieved according to the invention by a mixture of a bitumen emulsion having particle sizes of from 2 to 8 mu m, rubber latices having particle sizes of from 0.1 to 2 mu m, from 1.5 to 3 parts by weight in % of sulphur and from 3 to 4 parts by weight in % of a water-soluble alkali metal dialkyl- or diaryldimethyldithiocarbamate in a process for the preparation thereof.
