Preparing an additive comprises providing at least one nucleic acid sequence of genes corresponding to SEQ ID No. 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, and 24 (comprising one of 13 fully defined 565-15420 base pairs given in the specification), where: the nucleic acid is expressed in prokaryotic or eukaryotic host cells; and the nucleic acid produces an enzyme corresponding to SEQ ID No. 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, and 25 (comprising one of 12 fully defined (183-946) amino acid sequences (odd SEQ ID No) given in the specification) or a complete, recombinant host organism, and introducing the enzyme optionally together with a co-substrate in a plant raw material. An independent claim is included for the additive comprising the enzyme or complete, recombinant host organism for production of the enzymes, optionally the co-substrate for one or more of the enzymes and an inert carrier.
