Zusammenfassung:The heater (1) has a heating station (2) e.g. infra red radiation source, arranged outside molding tools (7, 8), and a transport device (3) for transporting a part i.e. insert (10), of the molding tools that is to be heated to the heating station in a bidirectional manner. The molding tools are clamped between platens (5, 6). The transport device has a rotating device, with which the part that is to be heated is connected, such that the part that is to be heated in its state connected with the rotating device is transported to the heating station in a bidirectional manner through rotation. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an arrangement with a molding tool and a heater (2) a method for heating a part of a molding tool that forms a cavity for receiving molten plastic.
