The arrangement has a cylinder head (4) with gas exchange valves for cylinders that are actuated via bucket tappets by camshafts. The tappets are displaceably guided inside a bucket tappet housing and the head is covered by a cylinder head cover (8). The camshafts are rotatably mounted inside the cover. The housing is detachably connected with the head and has a bucket tappet guidance for the tappets. An independent claim is also included for an internal combustion engine with a cylinder head arrangement.
