Arrangement for fixing a binding jaw of a ski binding on a ski (1) with a longitudinal adjusting device comprises a fixing part (3) connected to the ski and having two rows of teeth running in the longitudinal direction of the ski and meshing with rows of teeth on catch elements connected to the binding jaw. The locked position is fixed by a blocking element (7). One catch element (8) is fixed to the binding jaw and the other catch element (9) is pivotably mounted on the binding jaw in the transverse direction of the ski. The toothed arrangements (6, 8a, 9c) on the fixing part are arranged and mesh with each other so that their engagement cannot be released perpendicular to the upper side of the ski. Preferred Features: The fixing part is fixed on the upper side of the ski e.g. by screws, or is integrated in the ski construction during manufacture.
