Zusammenfassung:	A papermaking assembly has a sorting station to separate foreign objects from a fibre suspension. The sorting station has a housing with a parabolic rotor (4), a sieve basket (5), an acceptance chamber and a rejection outlet (9) closely co-located with the rotor. The assembly also has a feed point (10) for thinning water immediately below the reject outlet. The thinning water feed point is at the housing and sieve (5). The flow pattern is regulated by an expanding/contracting ring with a serrated edge that interrupts axial flow.
