Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a broadband hybrid power amplifier having a low power loss for realizing a highly dynamically regulated voltage source with a low internal impedance. The output voltage to be generated can be predetermined by a signal applied to a control input 2 of the apparatus, and the output voltage referred to earth (ground) 3 can be tapped on the output terminal 4 and/or be applied to a load circuit 5 connected to earth 3. The power part of the apparatus is formed by the parallel circuit of an analogue amplifier 6 and switching amplifier 9 in such a way that the output of the analogue amplifier 6, with the interposition of a current measuring element 12, and the output of the switching amplifier 9, via a current-impressing passive network 13, are connected to the output terminal 4 of the apparatus. The apparatus 1 is regulated internally in such a way that the current measurement signal 12 is applied via a signal line 14 to the control input 15 of the switching amplifier 9, whereby the current regulating arrangement 16 of the switching amplifier 9 forms drive commands 17 for the switching stage 18, arranged on the output side, of the switching amplifier 9. Via a return line 27, the output voltage of the apparatus is tapped off and fed to the voltage regulating arrangement of the analogue amplifier part 6. |
